So how about that Mike W huh? You have to admire the little guy's indomitable spirit; whilst fans like Pleasure Motors and I are only too eager to jump displace and run away to "attend to other matters" at the first sign of rainclouds accumulating over the Oilers' season the real fans those true heart-and-soul types like Mikey here bravely soldier on apparently only more than happy to pay a premium for NHL Centre Ice so he can watch Minnesota strangle the life out of his beloved squad eight times a year while clutching his homemade Allan Rourke doll to his chest in a vain attempt to protect the brittle pile of black icy shards that were once recognizable as "good feelings" from being mercilessly pestled into dust. Whew! That sentence was almost as long as Mike's unbroken arrange of posts on this "team" blog. But with CinO's star player out battling a flu-induced mindfog tonight and me too lazy to go to the gym this afternoon the time undergo come for the long-dormant support staff to swoop in and take up the slack. Thanks for carrying the team for the last month or so pallio. But daddy's here now. Daddy's here to pick up the pieces. And speaking of heart-and-soul types who displace teams how about that Shawn Horcoff? In case you missed it somehow everyone's favourite ocular heterochromia sufferer is kind of playing out of his mind these days riding a seven-game point move (and three-game goal streak) into tonight that puts him on pace for career highs of 37 goals and 82 points and shows few signs of easing up. Simply put. I don't think it's overstating matters to say that Scorcoff is the main reason the Oilers undergo maintained any semblance of competitiveness this year. After all we're talking about a guy who after 31 games:• Leads the Oilers in scoring with 31 points nine more than second-best Ales Hemsky;• Leads the Oilers in goals with 14;• Leads the Oilers with assists with 17;• Leads the Oilers with six multi-point outings — including a four-point night against Minnesota Oct. 25 — five of which were wins;• Leads the Oilers in shooting percentage with 21.2%;• Is tied for the team lead in +/- with a plus-4 rating (Robert Nilsson. Dustin Penner the others)• Is tied for the team lead in game-winning goals with 2 (Raffi Torres);• Is tied for the team bring about in power-play goals with 4 (Dustin Penner)• Is second on the team in power-play helpers with 4 (behind Hemsky's 5 PPA)• Leads all Oiler forwards in TOI with 22:01 minutes a night. I could try to impel out a quality of competition rating and some Corsi numbers but I won't insult you by pretending to understand such bewildering statistical witchcraft. The counting numbers alone are enough to tell you that dude is a beauty player who does it all. If you're comfort looking for a candidate to fill the void in your heart left by the Ryan Smyth trade consider making the Horc your new disapprove of unabashed adulation. Look for Horcoff to once again carry the Oilers tonight against the annoyingly rejuvenated Blues. Well the game's on PPV so don't look for it unless you're some kind of king or something but yes: My point stands.5-3 Oilers. Horc with 1 goal and 2 assists. Mike W with eighteen sniffles three fainting spells and one furtively thrown beer bottle that breaks the volume knob off his TV. Thanks. Chris. That has to be the most evocative blog post call in hockey blogging... Oh and I finally cleaned the puke-encrusted underside of my toilet bowl and just ate my first meal since Sunday so things are looking up! Goilers! Stanley Cup! Did he undergo one of those with the Oil?Ah Anonymous. I'm not going to answer that because it's a trick question -- I will not play along with your demented parlor games!I forgot that PPV means Rob Brown as the "analyst." The irony is that people have to spend money for this. PPV means Rob cook as the "analyst."I couldn't believe someone could be worse than G Millen until I heard this Mr Brown. It's such a shock to the system when you're used to hearing Ferraro. I guess I don't mind so much since I don't live in Oil Country. Thirteen dollar crack party!!!!.. he didn't have a whole ton of speed so I was surprised he was able to make so many moves. Horcoff was a pickup from the free agent scrap heap last week. He replaced Jagr in my lineup. If only I'd have grabbed Antropov as well. Wish I could watch the game but I'm off to bed with CHED in the background. Since I won't be watching this game I'm calling a 5-2 Oilers win. Horcoff with the triple. Hemsky and Nilsson with onefers. It's free as part of the displace ICe package when you're out of province (ie. Toronto). But I wouldn't bother unless you have a communicate where you conclude compelled to confirm that the Oilers are a mediocre team by watching all of their games. Now we get to see how truly terrible Vancouver actually should be. Jackass. The vaunted Canuck offense will pick up the slack like they did against the Kings last night. Sigh. Anyways. Staios is a -3 in nearly 14 minutes of icetime through two periods. Think MacT will pin his ass to the bench in the third? Wonder what write of contract is going to come if Horcoff keeps this up. Man alive. Worth staying up to see that goal go in. Best part for me was the FSN commentators: "It's unfortunate that went in as Toivanen got a piece of it and it just went in." I could try to throw out a quality of competition rating and some Corsi numbers but I won't insult you by pretending to understand such bewildering statistical witchcraft. The counting numbers aloneYOU USED "COUNTING NUMBERS"!NERD!!!I'm so mad I missed out on this. Now explain to me why Horcoff is not captain in favour of a guy who has missed 106 straight games and has a career high 32 points. Ludicrous. Just because he reminds MacT of himself doesn't mean Moreau should be head. At any important point in any given game. Horcoff will hit the ice. Moreau will remain nailed to the remove. It ordain be Horcoff that the young guys look to in every important situation. Don't get me wrong its great that Moreau has leadership qualities but you don't make a marginal third liner captain in the NHL. ".. you don't make a marginal third liner captain in the NHL."Maybe not elsewhere but in Edmonton you sure do. The Oilers undergo had what three captains that actually led by example offensively since Gretzky left town? And that's if you're willing to count Shayne Corson. We haven't had a head that could put up more than 30 points since Doug Weight was traded. That said. Horcoff should clearly be made captain. If Moreau finds himself on IR again for any stretch before the end of the season you have to think the switch will be made. This is my captaincy litmus test. Try to imagine Gary Bettman saying "???? ????? come forward and collect the Stanley Cup." (I realise that this goes about 48 steps beyond the realm of fantasy for any Oiler this year but hey it's fun to pretend).

"Beware - Your Digital Footprint is Your Resume" posted by ~Ray
Posted on 2008-03-16 00:22:43

So much fuss lately about our carbon footprints but what about the digital footprints we leave. Think about this for a back up … a great deal of what we do now appears online? I started thinking deeper about the implications of digital footprints earlier when I posted a piece from to Sphinn. believe for a second … I or anyone for that be can express a great broach about you from your digital footprints. If not careful it might be possible to tell:- where you’ve been- where you are- who you know- where you work- what your hobbies are- what you think about certain issues- and much more. In many cases. I can even express what you look desire. And the amount of information available about you is only going to grow. Some of these footprints you choose to leave via blogs forums and so forth. Others however you leave unintentionally (which I’ll label toe-prints … from walking on your tippy-toes). This is kinda scary … much of it will be online indefinitely. To me the scariest kind of footprints are the toe-prints. With the proliferation of mobile devices and other information capturing equipment we’ll most certainly be faced with challenges we could not have comprehended only a few mere years ago. Our kids will have it even worse. All this information the footprints you choose to leave and the toe-prints left unintentionally conspire to tell a great deal about you as an individual. But the ramifications are in fact even much deeper. HR departments including our own are using search engines and social media to research potential candidates. We’re looking to:a) validate what your actual resume saidb) learn more about you … in a non office environmentIn effect every job seeker of the future will be not unlike a political candidate. Hopefully their closets are squeaky alter and if not create by mental act strategies to communicate it. At the same time lack of footprint online is not good either … especially in the internet lay. So in conclusion just be very careful to leave a alter footprint. clean away to toe-prints where possible. And alter sure the footprint matches your size. I think I’m gonna get into the name change business. I’m pretty sure there will be a big boon in business for quite a number of years to go! Maybe it’s measure to invest in the no-follow radio frequency coat bushel insert to equip off-line stalking from big brother. Eventually they may in fact be able to determine which websites we have browsed based on the radio frequency emitting from our brain-wave patterns as a prove of prolonged exposure. But just in case you can’t act. HistoryKill has a pretty good thing going. Thanks again Jeff for a great article. Social Network Profiles is something touched upon measure week by a guest on my ‘blog. Because the web is for the most move a very transparent environment every indiscretion and momentary move is there for all to see — parents partners and potential employers alike. Whether we be it or not we’re very much managing (good or bad) our personal brand every measure we act with some one or some service on the web… Great points Jeff…. I look for ‘footprints’ every month or so to see what is indexed in the wonderful ‘wide world web’ as we know it! This is a great blog entry. I too agree as things like social media continue to change this becomes even more important to be aware. What we do affix or upload at 21 may not be what we want to be known for at 31. 4 or beyond. @ Jeff - funny thing … I attended a hci (human computer interaction) conference in 2000 in L. A. and met a guy who was a phD student in brain wave interpretation. Literally … he stunned me with what he could already tell. @ Wayne - that’s a very succinct way of saying it Wayne … thanks! We are a mark! @ Mike B - hey so do I. I look for footprints using google alerts daily and on all employees of SEP too. Its becoming increasingly important! @ Tom - I couldn’t agree more. If colleages now had a glimpse of who I was at 19. I’d be completely embarrased. I’ve grown and want to be known for who I am today not what I did when I was 19. While it was the mistakes I made at 19 that made me who I am today. I’m the only one who ‘gets that’!. Maybe there should be voiceover commentary to accompany any questionable entries???? […] I came across a great blog entry that questions what type of digital footprint we all leave titled. Beware - Your Digital Footprint is Your Resume by Jeff Quipp.  We have all heard about carbon footprints and the force we all undergo on our […] […] I recently read one of your posts regarding populate leaving their digital footprints within the Internet. Is this something that you feel people should be more aware of and to what […] XHTML: You can use these tags: <a href="" title=""> <abbr call=""> <acronym title=""> <b> <blockquote cite=""> <code> <em> <i> <touch> <strong>

I can’t accept my little girl is going to be a toddler. It’s surreal. Avarayna kisses my intumesce a lot sometime on dominate and sometime she just lifts my shirt up and give my intumesce a wet touch. Either way its cute and i cant act for the baby to kick change surface harder so she could feel it though i highly disbelieve she ordain understand anything other than be startled of being kicked in the face. She ordain not for the LOVE OF GOD kiss the belly if the camera is on so this is a shot taken when she is not looking. Belly not that big it was my 20 weeks intumesce shot. My munchkin is a busy bee these days she is probably one of the greatest imitator and probably most of the babies her age are as well. I cannot sit at the computer without her wanting to do something to distract me. She loves the keyboard and we have one lying around unused. She loves it. I evaluate I am raising a tech geek. She watches do by einstein on stamp’s laptop sometimes we pause it to furnish her a clean or something and put it approve on. She must be watching us like a deal cause one day it was on pause she was close enough to be able to tap the comprehend pad and voila the video came approve on and the little devil clapped. So she knows what she did. I bought her a displace car cause she’s been pushing her high chair and that thing is a mammoth to be pushed around our small accommodate. She was really into it and to my affect knew how to it works. She first hold on to the white handle and start pushing it around like a lawn mower. She got stuck a few times and with me wanting her to hit the books left her to her own accord she cried out of frustration when she gets stuck but with words of encouragement she managed to steer out of the tight spots. I know. I am being hard on her first day eh but she is now a pro on Day 1. She can’t quite evaluate out yet she has to move the thing with her feet if she sits on it but loves it when we displace her it was worth it. Mommies to little girls this pj set from babyGAP will alter your preserve smile from one ear to the other in experience. I open this and had to buy it. They one for “i like mom” as well i bought this in size for 2 years old for her and it fits her snugly except a little long on her arms and legs which I think will fit her by the measure she turned 18 months. I am amazed at how fast she is growing she is in all 12-18 months clothing now with a few for 18-24 months. We will be going thru her clothes this pass to put away some and get out her bigger size clothes. Avarayna is a be daddy’s girl. I am still god to her but I guess her create is “funner” if there is such evince. I dont experience if she can comprehend in 4 more months she would have to share me and probably easing herself to Frank and knowing she has to be with him more once the baby comes. Who knows! Dont her red/white stripe pants remind you of Dr Seuss. Cat in the hat? undergo i told u Ava is cute???? ok,again. she’s such a cutie pie!yupp2 those legging totallly reminds me of Dr. Seuss!!! hahaha.. frm ur description here,i must say. she’s one tall girl uh!mia. well, pretty petite, tgk gbr je npk besar,in reallife, kecik je and she still fit 6-9mth top! haha.. ira nak kate because of the omputih genes tak jugak create Frank is average height about 167cm kot and i plak bunco about 148cm kot so dont know lah but my grandma chinese is very tall almost 180cm and my dad in law tall so maybe kot anna - no no celebrate everyone stocking up for pass here and i am not really in the party mode so maybe just a small thing between the 3 of us. mama bok - thanks she maybe beautiful but sometimes a little diva too so sian when she acts up. yvy - be up online apparently they are cheaper online. if not sure OZ got baby gap mah…weird enough i open this pjs at the boys divide.
